You must know how many scenes there are in one project

Secondly, make a overall plan before doing a project. You must know how many scenes there are in one project, and how many elements there are in one scene, and among these elements, which element need to be modeled, and which can be found in your data base, besides, you also need to the whole colours and so on.you know, preparation may quicken the work .architectural visualization only in this way can you  avoid detours, which is very helpful to your productiveness.
Besides, you need to distinguish the importance in the course of creating a rendering , so that we will not waste any time doing the parts that is invisible, which will save lots of time. you need to choose the right perspectives, this will omit the workload of modeling and geting materials. you don't need to take the details of the far-away objects into consideration, it is ok if they have colours!
Forth, Do not to model in the overall scene if possible! many renders like to model in the overall scene, however, i would not suggest this if you don't use a very technical drawings. As even a simple interior rendering may be consisted by thousands of surfaces, and we also need to add lighting, materials, pictures. and the whole process is an ordeal to your CUP, internal storage as well as the display card. If you need Windows98, then it would make things even more difficult! Even you need conceal command to delete some objects, it will also drive you mad when coming across the complex rendering. So experienced renders usually set model in an independent scene, and then use Merge command to merge different subsidiary scenes so that they can make full use the computer resource and  enhance the quality of renderings.

Last but not least, you should set up your own material data base. if you are experienced with this job, you can have your own data base for materials, architectural visualization which will make you feel convenient in the course of working!
All in all,  refering to the above points is a necessity to be a excellent render , hope my above suggestion will give you a push in creating a perfect rendering, thank you for sharing!
